Message from the Chapter President

Welcome 2011! First, we owe a great deal of thanks to Chef Craig Meyer, CEC for his year of service on the board as president and Chef Peter Laufer, CEC as he served his “official” last year. 
 
I am personally excited about the new year and a great opportunity our chapter has to reach out to the community.  The board and I are working on our mission and strategic purpose for our chapter.  We all joined the ACF for one reason or another; education, networking, passion for food and service.  Whatever this reason is, we have received lack luster involvement in our chapter.  The crawfish extravaganza held at Bertrands was a great success and we are looking to hopefully duplicate that success again this year.  I would love to see more turn outs like these in the future.
 
It is important that we reach out to our fellow culinarians, vendors, managers  and owners to foster the relationships that helps make our industry great.  PCAH is a great way to meet and develop these relationships.
 
I look forward to meeting each of you.
